Welcome to the website of the Ozaukee Regional Chess Association (ORCA)!
ORCA is dedicated to promoting chess in Ozaukee County Wisconsin and surrounding areas, including Washington and Sheboygan Counties, and sponsors free, local open chess play as well as chess tournaments in various formats throughout the year.
ORCA sponsors open chess in two different locations! Every Monday night in Port Washington at Java Dock Cafe, and the second Thursday of every month at the Thursday Knights group in Mequon. There is no charge to play.
Coronavirus Update To prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we have decided to suspend the Monday night Chess/Scrabble Night event at Java Dock Cafe until further notice. We hope to resume the event as soon as possible; we will continue to send out weekly email updates and plan to hold some fun online chess activities during this period.
